Set 2.5 miles from Whitby, our hotel is just the place for a private dinner party or small gathering. And our specially curated, sustainable menus at the recently-renovated Restaurant and Bar 1822 make the most of our surroundings: freshly-picked veg from the Dales, just-caught seafood from the Yorkshire coast, and mushrooms and herbs foraged from our very own grounds.

Our smaller suites are the perfect place for parties of up to 20 guests, and for slightly bigger groups we can create a private room that can seat up to 40 – ideal for a wedding party.
