COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Updated 2nd November 2020
Following the latest Government announcement, Raithwaite Sandsend will temporarily close on Wednesday 4th November. We are currently planning to re-open for the festive season on Wednesday 2nd December, and will confirm this date once we have received official advice.
Tuesday 3rd November is therefore the last night that guests can stay with us. If you have a reservation between 4th November and Tuesday 1st December, please bear with us; we will be in touch shortly via email to help you with your booking.
In the meantime, the entire Raithwaite Sandsend team would like to thank you for your support and patience during this difficult time. We can’t wait to welcome you back for a well-deserved festive season!
A note about our cancellation policy:
Here at Raithwaite we’ve been working hard to stay up to date with government guidelines concerning the Covid-19 pandemic and this includes the subject of cancellations for either accommodation or pre booked treatments in our spa. We want to be as transparent with you as possible at this time so that you feel reassured that we’re doing everything we can to help you as our valued customers.
It goes without saying that none of us expected or planned to be in this extraordinary situation. We are a small independent business and, as such, this has hit our operation very hard. More than anything we hope that we are able to reopen for business in the summer and welcome you back to our beautiful coastline.
We acknowledge that you are legally entitled to a refund on your booking and, in an ideal world, we would very much like to facilitate this. Unfortunately, it is not something that we are able to do in the immediate future, although we will be making every effort to do so as soon as we can. We can’t give any time frames as we do not feel that it would be honest. In the meantime, we make an appeal to you to please move your booking to a later date, or accept a voucher. If you can see your way to do this it will help us enormously as we attempt to reopen. You really will be helping us at Raithwaite to stay afloat and to save jobs in our beloved Yorkshire and in the hospitality industry generally.
We would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Alejandro and the team at Raithwaite
