Whitby sea fishing throughout the seasons
Catching fish along the wonderfully rugged Yorkshire coastline can be enjoyed all year round.
During winter, the North Yorkshire coastline can experience some rough weather as winds arrive from the north, disturbing marine life such as hermit crabs, sea mice and ragworms. This, in turn, brings cod closer to the shore after a summer spent in deeper waters, which is exactly what is needed for visitors and locals wanting to catch fresh fish.
We work closely with Sea Spray Whitby to arrange sea fishing trips along the Yorkshire coastline all year long.
